01. Elephant Fall
It is located on the outskirts of the main city of Shillong in the East Khasi Hills District. It is a three-tiered waterfall which gives a unique and breathtaking view. It gets its name from a vast elephant shaped rock that was once situated near the falls,Woefully the rock was ruinous by an earthquake in 897. It is one of the largest artificial lake in Shillong, Meghalaya. It is also known as "Barapani Lake" It is popular for boating, fishing, sailing and many more activity. It is surrounded by Pine forest which add to its beauty. It is also covered by lush green forests and hills which make it fabulous destination. The best time to visit this lake is in the month of October to February. Because at this trime the weather is pleasant and the lake is calm.

 Shillong Peak
This is the highest peak point which is the prime visitors destination in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. It offers fabulous view of the city, the Himalayas and the plains of Bangladesh. It is known for its primordial changes in weather. The best time to visit this peak is in the month of September to May.

 Ward's Lake
This lake is known as 'Pollock Lake' or 'Non Polok'. It is the man-made lake in Shillong, Meghalaya. It is one of the most visited location in Shillong. This lake is covered by amazing gardens, trees, flowers..... etc. It is well liked for boating, fishing, and picnic spot. The best time to visit this lake is in the month of March to June, At this time the gardens are in full  bloom.
